i just want to get opinions after getting some enquiries for the moonie.
my moonstone 34k 3dr in boxes here .it was meant to go for paint in march and then built back up, but that aint going to happen now s enough has being spent on cars at this point .and i promised the wife after the last purchase i would behave

the way prices are going would you just lock it away and forget about it for say 10 year ,and then rebuild it .i dont have any great desires to drive the car tbh,but feel i would kick myself in the future to let it on now .i dont need to sell it so no pms with offers ,i just want peoples thought please .
the only thing that would probably entice me to sell it would be getting the kaliber track car built and have some fun,as i couldnt afford to do both in the next few years .the problem is time flies and you only get one go in this life

If I can honest without insult I'd sell the saff and keep the others . The saff wel you might own it but it will always be jim greens broken saff and wil never be worth as much as your lovely 3 doors

opinions of others mean nothing. there is only one person who can make a decision on this. if you don't want to drive it then it is a waste of a car. if it doesn't come down to money why keep it to increase the value which in real terms may not be such an increase. plus in 10 yrs the condition can't be as good as it is now. i would sell and hope the new owner has a little more enthusiasm for the car.

tony i dont need to drive it to enjoy it ,thats what the saff is for mate .it can go in a carcoon with all the boxes ,and it will be safe .like i said it needs to be painted to get it into the condition i would like so if that happens now or in the future it wont matter .

btw i have plenty of enthusiasm for the car

If you don't need the money then obviously keep it

Build it back up to super mint standard spec over a long time frame and the value will be massive in say 10/20 years so its money in the bank just sitting there

Bet if you sold it and banked the money you wouldn't get as much interest as it would just sitting in the garage if you didn't sell

Plus if you add up the series 1 you have and the white 3door I'd say your sitting on a little gold mine just keeping them

i bought this in boxes andy so got it at a decent price ,a few year ago.theses are the reasons g88 has taken so long .i have a problem hoarding



long term it will be a banker probably ,until we run out of oil and all these cars will be scrap value lol.the car is completley stanard even down to shocks etc ,exhaust is probs the only part that is modded.theirs no point in saying i would save the money in the bank ,i know that wont happen .

i bought this like this ,a couple of weeks after it was stripped and i stripped it a bit more

i still kick myself for not trying to buy g88 complete ,as i seen it on pistonheads at the time when pete had it up.howeve it was my first time getting back into cossies after a ten year lay of and i was wary of the arse out action of a 400 bhp rwd and chickened out and bought a 4wd with 20 less bhp .

it would have being way cheaper to buy g88 complete
