My bodyshop guy is having trouble matching the paint




So far i was thinking it could be Sublime Aquarius or Amparo

I was hoping one of you passionforders would be experienced in ford colours and could tell me what you think it is!The colour code on the slam panel is a completely different colour.

I have a folder full of history for this but cannot find anywhere that its been sprayed, but it must have.

I thought it was Amparo but did a google search on the reg and came up with an old thread of an old owner talking about the car and he said its Amparo.

The original colour for the car according to ford ETIS page it Amparo. My Ka club peeps are thinking Amparo too,

My guy is saying it looks like its pearlescent-y and doesnt match any ford colours!

Perhaps Aquarious not Aquarius which is green.

Think it could also possibly be an older colour called kingfisher? Does look quite like aquarius also. Does your painter have access to a colour scanner? A lot of paint suppliers have them now qnd the reps will come out and do it for you

Bentley do a kingfisher blue too.
