How do I go about finding out the previous owners of a vehicle? I have the log book but there are not any on it.

 

You need a form from the post office mate can't think of the name but you fill it out and send to dvla with £5

 

its something like a v888 but i'm not 100% sure on that, but does ring a bell

 

you can fill out a form and send it to the dvla but you need a very good excuse for wanting it or the dvla wont let you know

 

V888 form is available on-line. I say "required for car club history file" and it's always worked for me. Take a few weeks to come through and will also show supplying dealer.

I'm pretty sure I know who it is, I'm just after the service history for my van it came From a lease company.
