I know its a ford forum but im getting no help on scoobynet and im close to kicking the dam thing

The problem is when i'm driving and put any sort of left lock on its making like a grinding scrapping noise faster I go faster it gets, ive checked the basics wheels catching etc stripped the brakes all fine
when I drive the vehicle and left foot brake it the noise still occurs when i put right lock on the noise stops
all cv boots are fine could it be a cv joint or gearbox issue cheeRS chink

So its making a noise when turning left but when you turn right it goes away?
Sounds like wheel bearing to me. My focus did exactly the same when the rear bearing went. No play in it but it was fucked!

Yes when you turn left, the right side of the car gets heavier so that side will make bearings rumble more if they are fooked.

Try jacking it up and spinning the wheels to see if you can hear anything.

i used to change shitloads of hubs when i was at the subaru specialists, classics normaly destroy the hub or refuse to let the bearing press out

giving the symptoms you describe.

jack it up, spin the wheels/drive it with all 4 wheels off the floor

touch the strut and feel for "harshness" on all 4 corners

this is the only way to diagnose properly

hope this helps
