Where do you have your coolant temp sensor placed ?

If you have it where the standard dash temp sender was, what sort of temps are you getting ?

The reason im asking is that my temps seem to read quite low. 70-75c. Fans come on at 80 and go off at 84 ( standard switch ). Just wanted to know if it was normal and the sensor was just in a cooler spot as its nearer the stat , or if something else is a miss.
