Default Freezing central locking/doors

Anyone else been caught out in the morning with sticky doors/handles/central locking?

Drivers and passenger door locks were both stuck this morning, luckily I could just revert to the key and open it manually, back door was stuck open aswell, couldn't get it shut properly until I drove the 7miles to work(door lock locked)

Anyone else had a night mare early in the morning?

I hit the switch for the drivers window on my BM and the window stayed where it was while the runner went down.

Just sadly that time of year mate, I spray everything with WD40 and touch wood it's cured the problem.
Biggest bummer is when folk force doors and rip the rubber seals

What does removing cds and a bass box have to do with a frozen door?

it's probably due to mosture in the lock somewhere which has frozen up

by the time you warm the car up it melts the ice and it's all good again

it may also be due to the grease that lubricates the cables etc becoming stiff in the cold waether
