Default biggest disc under a 15" wheel....

im keeping 15" alloys for a while, but going for cossie 4 pots, whats the best/biggest disc i can have?

283mm i think. As that what i have, 4x4 callipers with 2wd discs.

Yep, all you need is 4x1mm washers to offset the calliper slightly and away you go.

If your using the 4x4 callipers tho, the 2wd callipers are a pain in the arse.

whats the difference between the 2?

The 2wd callipers are 4 pots and the 4x4 callipers are 2 pot.

The 2wd ones you have to get seriously modded by an engineering place to get them to the right offset for the rim to fit, the 4x4 ones - all you need are the 4 shims as i said above.

A damn site easier and SAFER! No skimming off the calliper down to an unsafe standard, as theres a possibility it could crack - it is only cast metal after all.

If i were you i'd go with the 4x4 callipers and 2wd discs.

i got a 315mm under a mondy 16inch rim not to many problems doing it either

i thought 300 under 15in is max, as the willwood 4 pots stated for the esrt and frst or 300 mill

Yep depends on the wheels, i couldn't get my 15" Rs 7spokes on my old cabrio with 4x4 calipers and 2 wheel drive discs .....

no worrys faye i kinow the ford 7 spoke rs rim is a bastard of a wheel to fit
i fitted 330 brembos under the 17 inch rs rim
and 315s under a rs mondy rim
motorsport rims deffo 300mm
some road rims then maybe

i have 305mm under 15" rims but you gotta use decent calipers for back clearance tho

I managed to get 283mm discs and 4 pot wilwwods under standard S2 wheels, looked ace too!Got em from rallydesign.

Yeah their good, but the cossie 4 pots are a waste i think.

I'd go for the above or just stick with the 4x4 2 pots

Thought 4x4 Saff were single pot....

Ask Ryan for some calipers Rad, he'll get them machined for you as well, perfect fit on mine
