My mate also had a 1900cc off of them, he didn't have a bad word to say, the work was good and so was the engine

They did a 1500 Pre-Crossflow sometime ago for me now and it was on one of their drive in Saturday, pick it up a week later deals.

They were on the phone several times in the week, oh your dizzy is fooked, best buy this nice piper one we have here, then next day it was, your clutch is fooked and its ŁX for a new one.

Then when I went to pick it up they were just finishing off putting the engine back in the motor and there was a mechanic forcing an allen bolt in for the starter rather than just chucking it and getting the correct bolt for the job.

Although I couldnt fault the engine, it went well, I just felt the attention to detail was lacking.

Like anything, you pays your money, you takes your chance.

neilm from my personal experiences people that build engines, people that spec engines and people that fit engines have totally different skill's, am always worried of firms that will offer a drive in drive out service or conversion. the expression of "jack of all trades, master of none" springs to mind. not that I'm saying that applies to SE I just think they should lend their skills to engine building and subcontract the engine fitting to a pro, perhaps they do already!

I've known personally of 2 XR4x4 V6 engines modded by them, both engines have been built well, one was a DIY fitting and the other was fitted by them, the DIY job was better

ask how long before u get your exchange money back on old engine. took me a while

but pretty chuffed with the engine, one tip though get it fitted at a approved garage as there warrentee list is pretty intense and theres quite a few bits that need your attention.something a diy mechanic could over look and result in a void warrentee.

it cost me Ł200 to have my engine fitted i think off the top of my head.

alan jefferies in plymoth fitted mine, the head was fully reconned too.
money well spent as a warrente quirey would then be answered by alan

this was a rst cvh engine
