hi the problem i found was the calliper mounts are diffrent the escort hub seems like you could fit a bigger calliper as when i tryed to put my sierra calliper on there was about a 10mm gap between the calliper and hub mount.
and when i took it back off i conpared them and to my sillyness you can see the diffrence .
so thats why i was wondering what size the callipers are on the escort 4 pots?

the hub, hub carrier, brake caliper, brake caliper bracket, discs and pads are all the same on the sierra cosworth 4x4 and the escort cosworth
basicly when you take the wheels off everything you see except the anti roll bar (which is 1 mm thicker) is the same on both models

as above, the 4x4 saph and escos use the same calipers and hubs etc
is it poss that whoever sold you the hub is wrong about what it is(by accident or not)

mate, don't get me started on which hub it could be as there were 3 different types ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
the easiest way to check is to have the 3 different types of brake discs that match those hubs and measure as one is 8mm different offset on the brake lugs (cosworth) one is 4mm different on the offset (xr range for the v6) and 1.4mm (i think it may be 1.6mm for the later dohc 4wd cars, but still 4mm for the earlier dohc 4wd cars)
proper proper head fuck when it comes to figuring out what's what![tiff](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/punchballs.gif)

so go armed with a caliper that is correct and a disc which is correct and bolt them up to make absolutely sure
if you are after some 4wd cossie hubs i'm sure i've got some floating about in the garage, will need a set of bearings though
and, now i come to think of it, i've got some xr ones as well so i may be able to get some pics up to show the differences
