depends what you will be doing , if its circuit racing then you'll need national B

1st step is send for pack from msa , blue book and disc

2nd apply for ARDS test at local circuit , pretty simple test and brief run out on circuit which is only to see you know about braking and turn in points and have a bit of car control , not to see how fast you can drive

3rd you will need medical of some sort depending on your age

4th send it all away and hey presto , your a racing driver

What John said , the first pack you buy from the msa is called the " go racing pack"

What you planning on doing?
Good luck what ever you choose it's a fantastic experience but hope you have deep pockets, specially starting out!
