Na its sold and getting shipped to cyprus iirc, altho the guy seems to be strugling with the deposit so he may yet still get it.

the guy that did that build does engine work for a living, head porting, boring etc.
was a high compression dry sumped engine, just shy of 305bhp, when he had it though it never made it to the rollers for a final figure.
he has just built up a 510bhp s3 though, with potential for more with some extra timing in the map, now that is a proper weapon.

yep thats Andrew

He knows his cam timing is out and the 870cc injectors are maxing out so he's stepping up to 1000cc and more boost as its running a GTX3076 thats only running 30 psi when they run best at 35 psi. He's got another head and is planning more work and may be a GTX35? but the goal is 600 bhp and if that doesn't work he did mention of a R32 engine with a big turbo.

the S3 Turbo would have been better with an S3 V6 from the start me thinks, awesome engine, much better than the 1.8/2.0T in my eyes oh and my ears ofcourse!

Didnt get that engine as it did sell :-( but my cuz has orders a weber zetec inlet and a set of weber 45,s and a double throttle linkage kit. he is also going to order a brand new zetec short block and send a black top head away for work..

Well we now have a brand new blacktop short block and a head has been sent to Nick wapels cylinder heads for a shed load of work, brand new weber 45's but im not sure what else to get gasket wise ect?

hi guys,
I am looking at a set of Vernier pulleys from piper for my 170,
they will work on standard cams ive been told and read, the main question I have is this,
what happens to the imrc control box when I delete the vvt,

and secondly
what happens to the factory inlet manifold and runner set up... ? if I delete the vvt surely it involves modifying the inlet manifold in some way to do away with the manifold runner ?
