Default engine hoist

hi dont supose anyone knows where i could hire a engine hoist near hartlepool? i dont fancy buying 1 as im only going to use it once

I don't know how much they charge to hire these but it could be worth looking for a second-hand one. I paid £100 for mine maybe 10 years ago, have had a fair bit of use out of it, have loaned it to a few friends, and would probably get £100 if I was to sell it now.

I'm nowhere near you but most motor spares ships do it,

My local one hires out the hoist for £15 a day or £35 a week

i got a decent used one off of ebay for 50-00
swapped the engine and sold it for 110-00 on ebay again

I decided to use a 500kg electric winch that i installed in my garrage roof! It has worked very well so far! The only down side is my 4 year old girl demands rides on the "up and down machine"!

I picked up an old manual winch with chains from work for next to nothing and put a beam across the garage been used a couple of times but main advantage is it doesn't take up any room in the garage
