Default Mk1 focus rs rod bolts

Can these be reused, and to what torque, or need replacing with 8/9mm zetec arp's?

There's no fact to say that blacktops or silvertops have 8mm or 9mm. It seems they are just random selection. My focus rs lump has 8mm, but an old blacktop lump I had was 9mm. Bizzare when u consider the focus rs mk1 lump is essentially a blacktop. You'll need to whip a rod bolt out and check.

There is no rule as to how many times an ARP fastening can be reused. The bolt stretch needs to be accurately measured to determine whether it is achieving suitable tensile load or not. If it has 'stretched' excessively then it will go beyond it's yield point and be at risk of failure under high engine speeds or loads.
