digital speedo for sierra question
I've just bought a sierra rally car running a vauxhall 16v red top engine and its running a type 9 box with a quaife gearkit.
currently the speedo doesn't work due to the issue that the drive gets chewed up when running these gear lits so was looking at alternatives
i've found this on ebay and was wondering if it would work?

as i understand it doesn't need a direct drive from the gearbox, is this right?
