before I buy my rst I need to build a drive, I live in crap area of sheff and have come up with these ideas to keep the car on the drive at night.

gates with 2 pad locks
4x 2" steel poles in the ground with two pad locks on each
cctv camera pointing on it
wireless camera on the dash
detachable steering wheel
cat 1 alarm etc.
might even cover it up

think that's good enough?
might also de-lcok it and get the film on the windows so you can't smash them

(can you tell i don't want any cunt getting the shitty little twocing hands on it???)

mate if they want it they will take it, just make sure it is as secure as you can make it, i live in a dodgy area of notts and my car is parked out side, iv'e got cat 1 alarm, steel post, gearlok, disklok and a cctv watching it, although you wouldnt be able to identifi any little shit thats going to try and break in anyway because of baseball caps, hooded tops etc. just don't be complacient when you leave it and make sure everything is on and locked.

i used to live in swansea mate in 3 diff area`s, best i can recommend is Cat1 alarm, disklok and gearlok and if you can the decent gates with padlocks
covering the car up is allways a good deterent.

Personally for me, gates and a sentry light, also as said decent alarm and a disk lock. I think cctv will cause more problem than prevent, cause then it alerts thieves to the presence of valuables. What happens if they wear a balaclava? cctv would be useless.

I'll tell you what, its sad when you read stuff like this .....

The things you have to do to deter someone from nicking or damaging your OWN property is just a fecking joke now days. Wire it up to the mains as that should liven the little shits up

Good CAT1 alarm system and disclock. Also add PIR sensors to halogen flood lights to illuminate the driveway should you have any unwanted guests.

and how hard is it to get another battery - not very...

Fuel pump relay, coil to distributor lead, disconnect a few plugs and hey presto - it's done

Never thought of relay b4 most obvious thing really!
