I am looking to put the engine of my saph into my escos but at the moment it is running a gt35 turbo at 7.8:1 cr. I want an engine whit max 480bhp and not to much lag like the gt35 has. What are your thoughts about this? What turbo and cams etc?

GT3071.82 and MAD inlet cam!

 

Gt35 is to big for the power you want! Go gt30 and an m.a.d cam/set up

 

exactly this (altough i'm sure a tony/reyland/bd16 etc cam would do the same) - plus consider a ST escos inlet

 

he doesnt need to change hes cams or timing just get a 3071.82 and a re map and it will be 500/500 no probs!!

He has hart inlet and a much nicer inlet than a bd16 with solid lifters etc

I built it all..its nice but the turbo is to big for the power really but the spec would be awesome with a gt30 on it!

Yes the engine i nice but i don't want to much power just a nice engine that drives whit not to much lag! I will be looking for a new turbo then!

Its a gt35/42.82 and was fully rebuilt by vince at crs and really hasnt done much work at all..

Its a little over kill on pieterjans engine as its specced for 640 hp

Or swap for gt3071.82?

Can you keep the aicon on an escos whit a rs500 intercooler?

 

I would go with a GT3071 like i used or maybe the 3076 if you have a ported head. Why are you limitng yourself to 480 bhp? Seems an odd number to aim for.

 

I have a neil rooper head that is fuly ported. I just dont ike the car now whit this turbo as it has to much lag. I wnt to stay under the 500 bhp then the car i more reaible whit the diff etc.
