Cosworth 2wd or 4x4 rear caliper difference

Default Cosworth 2wd or 4x4 rear caliper difference

Hello guys if anyone can please measure the inside for me please where the pad goes as i have a caliper thats supposed to be for a 4x4 but im unsure and just want to make sure it is , i cant get to my car at the moment so cant put it up against the old one. Or if there is a way i can tell if its 2wd or 4x4 please let me know.

The 2wd one has a gap of about 12mm in the carrier the 4wd one has a gap of about 22mm

You should still be able to tell just by the width difference if you fit it over the top of your disc, as 4x4 is wider to accommodate the vented disc.

from the main body beside the piston to where the other pad sits is 59mm for the 4x4

thats the inside gap not including the piston or seal .
