i have a car that has mot and tax but is not road worthy its stripped down, can i still sell the reg without any issues ?
i have just read dvla sometimes want to have the car driven to them for a plate transfer ? or will it be the recieving vehicle that will need inspection ?

Could be either but it's rare. If really pushed then you can take on a trailer. As long as paperwork is in order then it is usually purely a paperwork and money exercise.

I have only ever had one inspected and have done quite a few transfers.

so a rolling shell on a trailer shouldnt be an issue then if needs be ?

Someone told me the other day they had to get their car checked over and the DVLA sent someone out to inspect it coz he told them it was on axle stands
