have you bought anything for it latley ,a friend told me that they sell bits once you buy they know you have that car then when they post it they have your address and then just watch untill they see you work on the car sneeky bastards

Quite a haunting photo to see it being towed away like that.

They certainly knew what they were doing and the fact they needed to tow the car away and the lights working even if the engine doesn't thing. Thats defo info theyve got from somewhere or the place has been watched.

This guy steals and buys bits in bulk then sells on he doesnt even live.in harrow his mate does he lives in mitcham croydon names alan heard and also uses name alan knight he's originally from scotland he can switch from scotish accent to london so you wouldnt even realise it was same person. He is a big lump usually sporting long blonde hair tied up and a goaty. Sounds fishy that car got stolen from around said area linked close to harrow then moves towards south(mitcham way)

The owner runs his own garage, the police have now stopped looking for the car. They worked for one day... That's their work done now. Yes it was yb, it's not done any shows this year either.

Unless they are breaking into garages and looking under covers I really do think they will struggle to find it. People nick these cars now for parts and know what they are doing. I bet its locked in a container now which has the inside wrapped in tinfoil or lead and waiting for the tracker team to forget about it. Sad to say guys but so many do not get found. I love that car, looks just like my old car and if its the gaz who I think it is then that car was very simular to my old car, I nearly bought that one from Somerset at one point. Parts could end up anywhere, most likely out of this country

I google image searched "white Astra van" but never saw anything, looks like a facelift Astra H van. 5 spoke wheels, colour coded, sideskirts, tow bar? (is it a tow pole or A frame?) colour coded roof rails...Someone's got to know that van!

for my own personal opinion for what its worth is this, the thief had brass balls to steal it in they way they did and has no doubt seen or been told about this car and its exact location and stolen to order, anyone with a once of common sense will get the car undercover or pugged away in a lock up waiting for heat to die down etc, all areas are dodgy but ruislip is so central to park royal and watford 2 of the biggest hot spots around for dodgy garages who butcher cars, and lets not forget the travellers are also clued up on this sort of thing so trust no one
