does anyone have a drawing of how it pipes up?
on my evo i have a sas system which is used for antilag, its been turned on in ecu settings but its not true antilag basically it just pops and bangs once or about 3 little ones when i left off depending on what revs and when it wants lol, the ignition has been retarded for the system anyhow when it activates, unsure on fuelling
these are the parts for the system, but id like to see if i can make it actually sound like anti lag when i let off, by the looks of it this is a type of egr antilag?

In addition to the normal banging, Mine makes some really really loud bangs occasionally that make me think i will blow a hole in the manifold or exhaust I will have no bangs for a while then a massive bang. Its almost as if the big bang kickstarts the antilag or clears out the ISCV or similar.
Only thing with mine is that run it for a couple of minutes of hard driving and i start to get burning oil smell and smoke in the vents as it gets sooo hot it burns off any oil on the turbo side of the engine bay
think i need a 247 shaft and some decent heat management

one thing that alot of people who have ALS is, they don't relise that it requires the heat to ignite the fuel, so they switch it on, give it a few revs, get a few pops and bangs and thats about the best they get.
When you actually use it properly, i.e your on.off the throttle lots of times, the heat builds up and thus only then is the system working at full potential.
I can only describe my own experiance using it on a rally car as like going from driving a turbocharged car (als off) to driving a normally aspirated (als on and up to full temp)
I remember using it for the first time on a stage and getting back on the gas where i would normally and the power being instant- awesome really !
but heat management is crucial !

markk i agree with you on the torque all the time thing with antilag. great fun going into tight corners/roundabouts and being able to slingshot the car round the corner as youre generating shit loads of torque straight away. None of this waiting for peak boost malarky.
One amusing thing is that antilag can be a comedy "cruise control". Mine will pull the car along quite happily at about 30mph in 2nd for a good 10 seconds before the antilag cuts out.
