Desert Storm on the PF stand at ford fair ?
been suggested by a few that I should bring the wrecked Desert Storm to Ford fair in it's current poor state before the long resurrection work commences
Not sure myself as it is looking very sad
what do you all think

OK, you've got to trailer it there but so what ? Will have everyone watching the cars progress and you can't buy publicity like that !

I think it could work well if backed up with a display board of photos of it at its prime and details of what spec it was and what top speed it did back in the day etc along with a "what it will be" summary of where you hope to end up with it.
Cars are interesting if modified etc, but cars with a bit of a story are far more interesting IMHO

Cracking idea Tony - everyone who anyone knows the car, everyone will want to know what's going on and a pile of free advertising for you and the car.

Gets my vote like I said on the phone yesterday, But chips idea of a display board with pics is a winner so people looking at the car for the first time get its history and why its a important car, then when folk hopefully see it again at 2013s Ford Fair they will all feel part of its restoration and transformation, its all good PR for passionford

far more interesting to see the re-incarnation of a legend than just a build up.
Cracking piece of free advertising an all, esp for those new to the scence who praps dont know TS, yourself, or the car .
As the wise man does say,,Do it, do it, do it, do it,

Happily retired
Because its where Cossie tuning started for the man in the street. near 180mph 20 years ago was just a dream for the rest of us. When i bought a Cossie this car was Top bollix for Sierra owners, I bought the mag when it was featured. It was 10 years before Gaybird's roundabout leaper so Top Sierra for a long time.

I think its a great idea, more so because I didnt know as you had got it back
The collection tin sounds like a plan and would work well with the pictures of the evil one on a dart board. It could be a bit of an earner seeing as it was her that lead to the iconic cars demise,Ł1 for three throws of the arrows, eyes win a prize
Just caught up on the other thread

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Can we have a pic of what the car looks now please? The last time I seen a pic was on eBay sitting on some pallets with no running gear!
