I've been talked into going along to check over a C2 GT for my nephew.
Know bugger all about them apart from they're French and therefore probably full of dodgy electrics within a few years.
Any pointers much appreciated!

The GT does not have paddle shift only the VTR does
my wife has a GT for 2 years now and never had a problem with it only thing bad is the lack of space in the rear but if he just a young lad with no kids its perfect as the insurance is stupidly cheap on these.
PS im putting our GT up for sale if he's intrested

The gt is a cracking little car,do shift about well.
One thing too look for is accident damage as they've been in the hands of young loons so do take a nasty hammering, particularly with the fun of lift off oversteer!!!
Citroens aren't bad cars at all,way better than Renault.

Deal done. It's a one owner from new car with 40k on. A bit raggy but will come up nice with a lot of TLC and elbow grease. Coming with a new MOT and 6 month tax, private sale.
Shocking build quality and finish...reminded me big time of my old Pug 205 GTI's, might have bought it meself if me nephew wasn't such an excited gibbering wreck.
