Has anyone got a pictured step by step guide of how to do the cvh carb to 2.0 blacktop conversion?
I'm totally stuck with it & don't have the funds to pay a pro to do it.

I am sure there is a thread about that on here somewhere, lad done a very good guide when doing it to his orion. I can't find it though, however check out the Fast Ford magazine TECH section and scroll down til 2009 or so and you will see a link for the conversion guide they did.

ive read through the Fast Ford one & I'm still a bit confused tbh.
All it really says about the wiring side of things is that I'll have 2 plugs left from my cvh loom & 1 from the new Zetec loom.
So how do i get the ECU powered etc etc....? :/

Not 100% sure on the zetec conversion specifically but when you remove a modern engine pack all the engine wiring will be interconnected on the engine itself and there will be just an engine plug and the thicker battery wiring, the ecu gets powered up that way.
