Default Custom throttle cables

Does anyone know of a company that can actually be bothered to make me one?

Spoke to Speedy Cables and RCS Cables and all I seem to get is 'so and so isn't here at the moment, call back later' or 'I'll get so and so to call you back'.

Been trying to get this sorted since Monday!!

I've made up a prototype cable so all they have to do is copy it and make a pukka one for me!

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Gaz.

I used speedycables years ago for some accelerator and speedo cables. Service was always good and prompt, and decent prices too.

Can't seem to get anyone from either company to talk to me about making one!

Starting to think about sticking with the one I've already made.

Today is Thursday, you said you've only been trying since Monday.

If you think that's bad, you should try sourcing hard to find parts !

What, so you think trying to just talk to somebody about making me a cable for 4 days and just getting fobbed off is acceptable?!!

I'm not trying to buy hard to obtain parts, I'm trying to get a cable made which, strangely, is what the company apparently specialise in. Guess I'm being unreasonable.

I'm a potential customer for their business and it just seems they couldn't give a toss.

And I'd like some new 75krpm rated bearings for my supercharger.

SKF, NSK, FAG, Nachi all list suitable ones, but nobody seems to sell the fucking things !

Speedycables has two locations, have you tried both ?

TBH, I just posted my old cable off with a description of what I wanted, and they sorted it. Although it was maybe 10 years ago.

The problem is that I can't seem to get anyone to talk to me about getting something sorted, I'm not looking for it to be made in a hurry and I'm not concerned about it costing me money, I just want it made.

The only location I can find for Speedy Cables is in Wales.
