Default My latest little purchase, retro!

bought this for a good price as the guy selling it had it diagnosed with a cracked head. The guy said it was steaming & lost all power and cut out

put a new radiator in it as the old one was pissing out, ran it up to temp and couldnt find any fault at idle, took it out for a run and sure enough it lost all power and cut out. Went to tackle the problem today and stroke of luck, it was a duff fuel filter! RESULT!!!!

the car now runs perfect, always loved the shape and love how they drive, best of all its solid and not rotten like most, 84k and only 2 owners...not bad for a 22 year old car

crap pics, i'll get some decent ones once i've polished it

Tidy.

I like a nice well kept E30, regardless of model/spec really.

Cheers,

I keep reading the first sentence and thinking "the guy selling it had been diagnosed with a cracked head" how the hell did he crack his head?

looks like a tidy E30. always had a craving for one, and as said above regardless of spec they are a beautiful car

to be fair he knew nothing about cars, but one of the reasons he never checked the water or oil was because he couldnt get the bonnet open

I like that a lot. Been looking for a E30 or E36 for a little while but I can't find the right one. A lot of rough ones out there. That looks ace though. Fair play to you mate!

the pull handle was broke because the cable was stiff, ive greased the rollers on the bonnet and catch and it now opens easy with a pair of pliers, but yeah some people are clueless!
