87 in a 40. Was late night and most of the restriction was due to the road not that it was residential.
Copper said he enjoyed the chase and said he had no choice in nicking me. He did say he would only report an sp30 cuz if he declared my real speed then I was in for a court hearing for points, a fine and possibly a ban.
Only time I've had a decent time with the law.

I know of a lad who went passed a school (at night) doing 80 plus, the copper caught him, pulled him out the car, threw him over the bonnet, handcuffed him and chucked him in a cell. No idea what the outcome was but I bet it made him stop and think.

I stress I do not know this person, just know of him.

There seems to be quite a bit of willy waving about miraculously being let off some real hero levels of speeding here... unfortunately, that's not the sort of input required in this thread.

93 in a 50 temp speed for gay motorway roadworks at night.

Got away with a fpn, 3 points and Ł60.

Been caught at 126mph in a 60 but that was on MoD property and ticket issued incorrectly by MoD police. Technically an FPN is a conviction but it was overturned by strathclyde police due to "administrative" error.

silly moment with a taxi on the a500 and we both went past an unmarked vectra at approaching 100, i was showing 115 when the blue lights came on. thought id lost my license. was clocked at 'over 90' but they let me off with a warning. lucky. had a few close ones.

not something to be proud of but ive done well over 100 in 30 limits before now. stupid really, would definitely be in big trouble if caught.

in 2000 i got caught by a gasto on the A4 bath easton by-pass. the cunt never used to work till one day they turned it on

88 in a 50, 21 day ban Ł155 fine.

then in 2007 on the A370 in weston i dont know the area, was going along the duel carrageway past all the shops when my passenger says there is a camera van, i says its ok, im doing 50...

he says, its a 30 limit.... and sure enough there was a 30 sign about 100 yards past the bastard van!

anyway, that resulted in 5 points and Ł190 fine!

cunts

i took ethe front number plate off all my cars after that!

been let off of a few tho, one was tanking it at 95 ont he motorway near reading, past an unmarked vectra lol. copper said he had the same van and i was obviosly flat out.

moments before tho the boost hose had blown off and id just refitted it so was testing it out lol

he did make me put the front number plate back on tho, or he was going to give me a fine for that lol

i had a copper report me for sp30 rather than 85 in a 50 cos i said it would ban me over 3 pts, not too bad i spose i was in a lowered 1.4s mk2 fiesta with a 3i engine in no bumpers and it woudnt idle

been seen well into 3 figures on my bike but never looked back to see if they tried to get me

many years ago i outran the police helicopter on the m25 (according to the copper who pulled me over several miles down the road) a good few years back, i did 97 miles in 42 minutes including the being pulled over and told i was a silly boy

cracked at least 1 mph over the limit that day i can tell you

deffo wasn't big and deffo wasn't clever and now i stick the the speed limits 99.9% of the time as my license is SOOOOO important to me i can't risk losing it

I got caught doing 128.8 mph (apparently) on the itchen bridge in Southampton. Its around 2 thirds of a mile long i would say? It was around 2.30am, no one was about. There was a speed gun sat at the top and 2 BMW traffic cars sat at the toll boothe the other side. I stopped infront of them. A copper was on his radio. He said- how fast were you going over that bridge sir?

I said- dunno, probably about 40ish?

He said we have recorded you at 128.8mph. Do you have any idea how rediculas that is?

A bit silly i suppose...

Then he said, However, this bridge is owned by the city. Its a privatly owned road, thats why you pay to cross it. As he said that i looked round and couldnt see any speed limit signs...

He said- lickily for you, we are doing research on the speeds people cross the bridge because people want a limit enforced.

No further action taken, just some advise..

The copper just wanted to see under the bonnet more than anything. No way, had to play the hidden bonnet lever trick

That was 4 years ago. Not sure if theres a limit now or not. All i know, is that its a lot cheaper than santa pod
