Default Footwell lights

After two years of owning my mk2.5 focus zetec I have just discovered my car has the bulb holders for footwell lights why did ford never put them in?

They did the same with the mondeos too lol.

I fitted a set to the wifes mk1.5 focus zetec and another set in my cossie.

They were one of the 'add ons' for the ST3. But they put them in the ST2 anyway just without bulbs Just pop some 501 bulbs in and away you go!

I've been told the plugs are in head cloth for the visor lights but am not brave enough to cut out the square to check

they did the same with the mk6 escorts,plug and bulb holder in the loom.i guess it depended on spec of vehicle

Found this out myself on my mk2 focus when fixing the clutch return spring the other week. Loads of LED 501 bulbs on ebay mate.
