as far as rwd cossies go a supra 2jz engine, 6 speed box and diff would be fit and forget for 700+ hp and fairly cheap by comparison to rods car for example. not pure and not comparable but £ for £ far cheaper.

that was my original plan but they're so bloody expensive compared to the ca18det, ive just got the entire motor, turbo, alternator, exhaust, loom etc, everything needed to make it run for........£300 a few simple tweaks, 200-230bhp, unstressed and reliable, that'll be more than enough for me, i dont drag race or hil climb etc, just road use. plus ive always wanted a turbo'd car but wont sell the escort to get one, sooooo, i put a turbo in the escort, simples.

Naaa did rod not tell you it wouldn't be a fast car unless you had at least 800bhp
