Default Engine braces.

Nobody ever thought of fitting one to a Cossie? Seen it done on various other cars, a solid bar from the engine to the body to stop the engine twisting (well trying to rotate) on its mounts.

Helps torque transfer If engine cant try n turn itself i guess it puts more into the transmission.

Should work like solid engine mounts with regard to handling too.

Seen it done with a small shock absorber type thing but all that does it keep engine still rather than what a solid one would do, as theres less movement rather than none.

Anyone know much about it? As i dont

Solid mounts like Spiky's or Group A mounts like mine:

Can't see the point of bracing the engine to the body - shock and vibration if EVERYTHING was solid mounted would be huge!
