Hi hoping someone will give me an idea why i am having problems starting my escort van.it starting about a week ago there would be about a 1-2 second pause before the van would crank over and start and its gradually got worse,its now a case of it wont start several times but then it will start after several key turns, and them sometimes it will just start first time.any help on this would be great.

i had something similar to this on my escort van check the wires to the starter and also check all the glow plugs
