Any Focus Mk1 Suspension Guru's please??
Hi, i am not sure if this is the right forum , i looked through them all and it looks like this is the right place but please move/delete if necessary;
I have koni adjustable rebound front dampers with eibach pro springs just fitted to my st170, and i have standard rear shock absorbers with eibach pro springs.
As we all know the focus rear suspension has the springs seperate on the rear arms and the rear damper is a standalone unit in normal place;
The dilemna is i also have a new spax rsx coilover kit sat behind me but want to get my money worth out of the koni front dampers before fitting the whole coilover system.
Soo, is it ok to fit the spax rsx rear shock absorbers only for the meanwhile, meaning all the spax springs and adjustable spring stuff would not be used either.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

are you referring to the koni front shocks or the spax rear shocks?
I think the rear shocks are the same size as the oem rear shocks, as the springs are what are adjustable as they sit on those adjustable seats for the height change on rear..
And as for the front koni shocks, they are shortened slightly to accommodate the eibach pro lowering springs better..
Does this help you at all?
