Default Seam welding

Can anyone shed some light on this? While I've got the Fiesta down to a bare shell, I've though about seam welding it. I know you weld an inch, leave an inch, and keep moving around the car so you don't get too much heat build up. My question is, do you just weld the seams that are covered by seam sealer?

Any help appreciated.

Ben.

Quite literally every seam then!
Is he TIG welding that? It generates more heat than MIGing doesn't it?

first one is TIG, obviousley it is not esential

just make sure the metal is Uber clean, and dont just do a bit here and there or it will stress fractire where you havent

I always thought you had to do bits all over to prevent heat build up in one area?

And what's best to get rid of the paint, a wire wheel on a grinder?

Thanks
Ben.

TIG will give you the ability to put less heat into the shell.

The steel cools pretty quickly, just don't go mad. Your better off stitching it so it doesn't crack. Wire brush on the grinder is best for getting rid of seam sealer.
