Default 2.25" vs 60mm springs

I'm going to be changing the rear springs on my 4x4 saph fitted with Leda coilovers on the rear, they came with 60mm ID springs (12" long), I’ve had a measure up and I reckon I can use 2.25" (57.15mm) springs instead with no mods required, and there are alot more off the shelf 2.25" spring rates available.

My question is: Is there any advantage to running 60mm springs over 2.25"? Why did Leda go with this size?

Default Does it matter

Does 2.85mm really make a difference. 2.85" might.

Thats what i mean, why did leda choose 60mm for the rear? They used 2.5" on the fronts! Think i'll just go with 2.25" on th erears unless anyone can thnk of a reason to use 60mm ones?

My ledas are 2.5 front 2.25 rears. I'd imagine the 60mm ones are as close to 2.25" ones anyway so shouldn't be an issue. That's what springs I purchased anyway
