Anyone got any ideas or know how a Disklock can be modified to make it stronger?

I had the idea of welding 2 flat bars at the back so it cant be prized off but will still "spin on attack" they'll be bent enough welded from top -bottom an fitted so the lock still fits an works as it shld

i heard someone before mention there are other ways to make it stronger, any ideas?

 

i got two pieces of metal, half moon shaped and welded them on the back.

then bent the middle outwards so it will still fit around the wheel.

Does give me a bit more piece of mind.

yea im sure it was Guzzler too mate, they dont feel very safe, the bar on the top dont feel sturdy reaally do they?
2 bar at the back trick will need doin

as Davecos said, weld 2 bars down the back to prevent the disklock from being
prised over the steering wheel, i also welded supports over the hinges, the top
being most prone to attack. i was going to finish it nicely & give it a swish repaint
so it looked 'factory' but in the end left it looking like shite so when people look through the window they know its going to be a bit more of a pain in the arse to
get off.

grey RS, Looks nice, ive got a silver one but i wish i got yellow but then who gives it does one job n thats all its needed for

 

I would have had yellow to, but i think the silver is subtle and does the job nicely

I know what you mean, but no one usually notices my grey car-tends to blend in the background in a nice way

a couple of years ago a dicklok was the only thing that stopped the 4x4 shaph i had at time from going missing strong enough in my opinion
