frst.. whats best for brakes!!

Default frst.. whats best for brakes!!

hi all, im looking at upratin the brakes on the wifes frst, now i have a s2 and as standard thay r very good as you have alb and lsd, but if you guys have ever drove a frst you will find a massive diff in braking perfomance the brakes r shitt.big style infact i wud go as far as dangarus and this one is mint and well looked after, can you put disks on the back ?if so what type? i was looking at putin the 4pot willwood on the front at a cost of around 500 quid for the pair, whats peeps thouhgts on this

shite as standard yes - but a mates S2's brakes are far worse!!

go for ST170 brakes up front. wont be as good as the willwoods but they are the cheaper option and big improvement over the standard jobbies!

Depnds on wheel size...... imo just go for 4x4 Cossie discs and calipers, the caliper is the same as the ST170 just with different hanging bracket to suit the 300mm disc (4x4 has 278mm discs)

have you been on Fiestaturbo.com they are a proper friendly bunch who'll know every fiest prob you got.

personally mate id go for the cossy 4x4 calipers and disks all you need is 3 washers and some longer bolts and they go straight on they usually go for around 150 the set.

Get the wilwoods mate you know you want to glad I didnt leave mine at yours or think they would be on the FRST by now
