Mondeo Query !!
Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 130 Zetec Diesel Estate - Queries!
Hi there,
I've just bought the above car. It's date of first registration is April 2003.
I'm a bit puzzled as a few things don't seem to be right ...
Firstly the "Owners Guide" that was with the car talks of all models having a five speed gearbox; mine is a six speed box.
Secondly, the owners guide tells me that there is a dimmer for the dashboard lights - located with the variable dip control. Not on my car!
Next up, I have purchased a Haynes manual for the car .... Manual 3990, covering "00 to 03". Again, this manual does not seem to be talking about the same car as I have!
I know that there were changes to the car in June 2003 .... could this be related - could some 'new' models have been delivered early? Does this make sense?
Or is something "hooky"???
I'm a bit concerned! What else am I likely to find???

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
You will find there are different variations of the same model which dont always contain what the Haynes manual states, or indeed have more equipment on them than is stated in the book. Not only that but you are refering to a book which when it state placing something into where it needs to go, you actually need a sledge hammer to get it in,
