Default ecu queeries?

does anybody know if fitting an st170 ecu to a standard 2 litre focus would have any possitive effects? or if its even possible?

No, you can't just stuff a random ECU onto another engine as it won't be mapped for it.

Plus I should imagine the loom/sensors are different.

A normal model uses Ford EEC management, where as the ST is Black Oak.

reduced fuel consumption would be one benefit of an engine that doesn't run. less chance of crashing it would be another. more difficult to steal, etc, etc.
