Focus ST170/Fiesta ST caliper question...
Would I be right in thinking the Fiesta ST and Focus ST170 calipers are the same, apart from the Focus item having a different carrier to space it out for the bigger 300mm disc?
They share part numbers for pads and they look the same from what I can tell...
I want to fit a 300mm setup to my Fiesta ST but would rather use the ST170 calipers if they will fit, as the pad choice is greater than for the Mk3 mondeo calipers more commonly used for the conversion.
I am aware the ST calipers usually cost more and this is why most opt for the Mondeo ones, but I may be able to get a set of knackered ones with carriers cheap, assuming they are identical to the Fiesta ST ones I can just pinch the carriers and junk the rest.
