Default What engine is this?



Vehicle is a 1978 transit mk2, seller reckons it's a 2.8, but it looks like a kent engine to me ?

2.0 V4 mate by the looks of that in a transit, should have a good three rail box on it too.

Yep, looks like a 2.0l Essex V4.

the mk2 transit didn't come with a v4, just a v6, pinto, might have had the crossflow in the baby weight transit, v4, v6 and crossflow in the mk1

my mk1 2.0 v4 engine bay as a reference

It may not have one as standard but it certainly doesnt mean it hasnt got one in it now.LOL
