hi just wondered if anyone can answer what im thinking.im rebuilding my fiesta turbo t3 converted xr2i which has blown the head gasket between cylinders 1 and 2.i dont want it happening again and thinking its poss a turbo problem.its a standard t3 with a new garratt -31 actuator with 1 hole preload(prob too much i reckon).anyway the bleed valve is mounted in front of the battery tray on a bracket.would the length of the tubing affect boost?
many thanks for those who answer

What boost was it running, and what boost do you want it to run?
Head gasket is likely down to it being a shite non-ford Gasket ( I bet it's a Felpro )
Length of tubing won't affect boost.
-31 with 1 hole pre-load is probably too much for a standardish car, i'd guess that's probably nearly a bar? with no bleed!
