What clutch for 450bhp?

Default What clutch for 450bhp?

As title, i currently run a AP 6 paddle with standard pressure plate which were both new about 200 miles ago but does'nt seem to put up with much abuse! Peoples thoughts appriciated

mine seems to be fine at that power level all though it does seem to slip its self if you try to launch it! probably a good thing for the diff

ive got an alcon 6 paddle and it has done really well.. took a good beasting today too..

wont be a problem with the paddle, it will be the cover plate.

It simply wont have the clamping pressure of a heavy duty AP cover and hence untimately wont have the friction at high torques to resist slip in the same way.
