Question Quick question

As most of you know by some of the posts i have posted in threads, im 16 and training to be a mechanic (always been interested in cars) whats the difference between a normal piston and a forged piston?

Normal pistons are cast (manufacturing process) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casting

Forged pistons are forged (manufacturing process) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forging
