Rover split clutch pipe???

Default Rover split clutch pipe???

Rover 75 with the split connector on the clutch hydraulic pipe.....
Anyone ever struggled to push it back together???
I used the tool remove it ok enough, but by fuck it does not want to go on to the new slave cylinder ( correct part )

Usually they snap together quite easily bit more difficult to get them to separate are you replacing a bit sometimes a Pattern part needs to mate up to the same make if you know what I mean euro car parts are quite reasonable for them

In the past they have just snapped together as u say, but this one just does not want to know! it is a Sachs unit aswell!!
