That new car game
Has anyone else even been in this same predicament?
I bought a car about 2 weeks ago and me and a mechanic friend went over it and couldnt find any fault with its mechanicals/electricals.
2 weeks on its a different story, ive put it down to the car being sat and the sudden use its got has been a shock to it.
We changed the oil, and upon doing so discovered a split crankcase breather, its a remapped Leon Cupra, the part in question £80 new, but a silicone replacement off ebay £30, the day before that the car started making some weird noise as if the car was being pushed back and forth whilst in gear, turns out both wishbone bushes are shot and under braking both front wheels have about an inch of play in them £40 for 2 new wishbones off ebay.
Now the rear wiper has packed up, the boot wont lock off the central locking, and when using the rear washer it sprays water inside the boot rather than on the glass, drivers door central locking motor keeps sticking.
Sods law hey! Anyone else had similar?
