17k???? how many extras did he have!?!?!

mine is about 12k for the zetec s with a couple of extras, should have gone for the keyless entry and reversing camera!

but my brother has sorted me out a deal there it costs me 5.5k of my own money then anything else, is just dealt with if/when i sell it.

which means its cost me 5.6k..................
no payments are coming out of my account to ford at all!! therefore it cost me one payment of 5.6k!

but then my mk2 escort that is worth £4000, cost me £50 to buy, and that was a 1 lady owner car with 58k on the clock, with FSH.
So bargains are out there!

5.6k for 2 years I assume and then you have to pay the market value back at the end of the deal or hand it over?

Ie you cant just choose to keep it forever and pay no more?

Do mean you paid 5.6k for the car but in two years you have to give it back to them? Or pay more money to keep it?

No it doesn't mean it cost 5.6k at all. As you still owe the lump sum at the end.. or hand the vehicle back

would you like to discuss that with my bank manager and/or ford cause clearly we have read a different agreement to you!

how about you organise me a mortgage, a loan, or any other purchase because you CLEARLY think you know better than me?!

as i have said, i was there and if i recall quite clearly you werent, when i signed the paperwork!! so how can you tell me what my financial situation is with regards to something i have purchased when you nor anyone else was there!!!!

that is all. thank you

Not sure why so defensive, we were just asking questions!

If you actually own that outright for 5.6K and can keep it forever I just dont see how ford have done that, thats mentally cheap.

Lou,

Always seem to get a hard time on here for some reason.

have you paid £5.6k for the car and thats it, as in you now dont have to pay another penny and the car is yours?

Privelige?

Never actually dealt with it when I was selling new Fords as we were a Retail dealer and only Main dealers deal with privelige sales.
Was bloody frustrating for us and our staff.
We were not entitled to it because we didn't work directly for Ford.
Yet some muppet who doesn't could get it cos he had a family member who did!
Discounts were huge, although there are rules regarding length of ownership etc I think.

So technically you could sell it tomorrow and double your money and you would get to keep it all?

How come you edited out the bit saying you get a new car again in 2 years?

That was what made it sound like PCP

i think there was a distinct lack of detail on your part lou, so everyone was guessing/filling in the blanks.

but, end of the day, the car is still not you wholly 'yours' for £5600

Do you have to pay anything extra if you wanted to keep the car more than 2 years?
