Default Engine rebuild help please!
Rebuilding my xr3i this year somtime and was looking at this on burton power http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-.../kccvh22k.html

Will these suit my engine, 1.6 8v efi

Just want rid of the tapping

Also whats the advantage of a zetec bottom end?

Yes they will fit your engine & order a set of tappets with new valve stem oil seals as well. That will cure the tapping.

I did check over the camshaft & there wasn't any signs of damage to the cam lobes. Just replaced the cam oil seals.
