Hi, what is the best way to bleed the coolant through on an escort git 1.8 mk6.

Take the bottom hose off as that way you will get rid of more coolant and then simply replace!

So if i just do that, top up the coolant to the max level marker, screw the cap on and it should be fine?

top up to max, leave it running with the cap off until the fans come on, put the cap back on and your away

Yeah leave it running with cap off so it gets rid of any air in the system!
