26/27 years old now . I think they will go up even more when they hit 30 .
I paid £7200 for mine in 2005 with 89k on the clock and history, its now on 97k . Ive spent 10k on it so it owe's me £17200, but its a very nice usable 3 door ,tidy with nice power . And i wouldnt take no less than 14k

it was my old one. The car is maintained mechanically by billy thompson in sunderland, the bodywork was only ever looked after by gary richardson up sacriston who does a lot of work for rs owners around the country. The clown that wrote this about the car wanted to swap his 05 reg seat leon and was told no, then he rang up wanting to view the car anyway. Didnt bring any money or nothing, just a tyre kicking, time wasting arse. The kind of person you dont want at your door. This wont be getting forgotten about, i will see him at the shows and have a discussion about it, i hate keyboard warriors with a passion. He has slated the car because he couldnt afford it.

You lying Bastard!! I strongly sugest you remove these comments. That car is well known by members on this forum. Im not having some skinny little prick slate that car, you have no right. The guy who done the mot is on this site and he will tell you what the underside is like and also theres a pile of photos of the undersite resto. Also worth mentioning is that there is a small crack appearing at the bottom of one arch. Its 25 years old you fool. You looking at a 6k cossie, not concourse. Dick head!!!
i find it hard to believe specifics are mentioned if not factual.
p.s. want to trade for an xr2
far from standard though.

Always said I'd have a 3dr before an Escos, but with the prices how they are & it being that much harder to keep a 3dr now I definitely don't regret going with the Escort... special cars
I'll still have a 3dr or 500 one day...

I paided £5200 for mine in 2003 which was a bargain even back then but i've easily spend 45K on it in the 8 years i've owned it.
Don't really have any intention of selling it as there isn't another car i'd rather have (other than various supercars I could never afford)

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Yip that's her, looks better than that now, not concours but still as mint as I want it to be, only problem being is it got a history dodgier than Germany, all the chassis numbers are good and all the glass match the numbers so really I don't care about the history it's just it's going to kill me on the price if I do ever need to sell it on
