What the heck was that all about? Those officers had the patience of saints. The driver must be really quite pleased with himself, wasting 50 minutes and getting arrested.

Oh, and what's that shit in the UK about stopping people on the hard shoulder? That's just asking for a hidious accident. German police for instance would never do that and pull you over at the next layby or service station...
