Default Cleaning convertable roofs

Is there any set way to clean a convertable roof? Or any set products?

Its black and on a fairly new car, but always ends up covered in bits off the sponge/wash mitt, and then next doors cats sit all over it and it looks a like right mess!

You don't need to wash it with your normal mit and shampoo mate. The best thing to do is clean with autoglym fabric hood cleaner and sponge then spray on the protector they have. All you need to do then is vacuum it from time to time to remove bits

i was always told vacuum, and thought it was weird, but have always done so on the BMW roof

once in a while, snow foam and take it off with the pressure washer, being careful and watch the dirt come out

I take my hat off to you lads, I never knew that was how it was done!

Makes complete sense though- I bet that fabric is holding some proper grime!

As soon as it warms up a bit ( prob march time!) I will be out there!

Nice one dudes
